Hi! For this post I will share with you on how to cook the famous Chicken and Pork Adobo.
Philippine adobo (from Spanish adobar: "marinade," "sauce" or "seasoning") is a popular Filipino dish and cooking process in Philippine cuisine that involves meat, seafood, or vegetables marinated in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and black peppercorns, which is browned in oil, and simmered in the marinade. It has occasionally been considered the unofficial national dish in the Philippines.
Adobo in the Philippines has a lot of variations, this recipe is how my late Mom cooks Chicken and Pork Adobo.
You could learn how to cook our version either by watching our video HERE.
Here is the recipe card.
Let me know at the comment section below your version of Adodo, or if you have tried eating the Filipino Chicken and Pork Adobo.
Till my next cooking adventure! Remember to be courageous, kind and a blessing to everyone you meet.
