DeleteI sent them the pegs of my gown and unfortunately I find their quotes quite expensive :-( but fortunately a friend recommended Mr Nino Angeles a talented couturier and his rates are affordable and the plus side is the gown is design for me hehehehehe.. if you want you could read my post about him here

hi! i tried the link re: nino angeles but it's not working :( How was your experience with him? I plan to get him for my wedding this year and I'll be meeting up with him by the end of the month. He sent me a gown design based on the pegs that I sent him and i fell in love with his own take of the gowns that I sent him. Affordable din ba sha pagdating sa entou gowns? I love this post! :)

I was able to do my final fitting with him yesterday!! and i love love my gown as in dream gown romantic and dreamy heheheheh and the plus side I did look slimmer. He's easy to work with during the fitting he kept on asking me if I needed something to be changed this shows me that he really puts his clients interest first coz he doesnt mind that you alter his designs. I did not make my entourage dresses from Nino but I had one of my Ninang dresses made from him and again my Tita was all praises and he didnt mind changing the design according to my Tita preference on the spot he made some alterations that suited my Tita's taste. Then for workmanship... its very good as in good! I love love Nino as in he is so nice and he made me so excited for our big day on Monday,

Hi Carra, his gowns starts at 40K, he would design it for you and with assistance on your day and he would even provide the mannequin. I just got married and I love love the gown which I just saw a few days before the wedding :-). I have not uploaded the pics or done my supplier review but if i need to rate Nino it would be a 100/10. I was so lucky to have him during my big day as in..he went over and beyond for me.

Hi Carra :-) As for DV gowns based on what I read sa Girl Talk Forum madami naman satisfied brides and of course there are horror stories din. If you want you could send yung pic ng gowns that you like and ask for qoutation, from my experience it would cost around 20-30k making the gown in DV based on my peg so I had second thoughts I did not consider buying an RTW gown because of my size din. So when I got in contact with Nino and found out na affordable yung gown na he designed I got him na.

Got my gown made 3rd week of March no fittings na for I have to travel back to SG, just had my one and only fitting 5 days before the wedding :-) Nino was able to make the alteration needed naman. better message him and ask siguro 6 months before the wedding mo is sufficient since Manila base ka naman from what I know, madami ka fitting schedule needed.

ReplyDeleteJust to warn brides-to-be who are planning to buy at Divisoria, do whatever you can to avoid the stall Cherrick inside the Bridal gowns section of Tutuban Mall. It's located on the entrance, so just avoid it when you can.
ReplyDeleteThe owner's deceptive scheme is that she will wholeheartedly accept your designs with your downpayment and tell you that her tailors can do your designs for you. On the day of your fitting day (about two weeks delayed than what you first scheduled), you'll be surprised that she won't follow the design you gave. And when you ask for alteration, she will give many excuses not to accept any alteration on the designs. She has prepared all the answers for any comment that you'll give, even though she clearly didn't follow what you discussed before. You'll receive rude answers when you give your comments, and so you get your gown with minimal alterations (limited only on the size).
