Happy Tummy: Yellow Cab Singapore Co. (City Link)

I saw the sign that Yellow Cab is finally opening in Singapore last year, I of course got excited.

From Yellow Cab Co. Face book Page

I am a Filipino which means we are a fan of Yellow Cab, it's always on my list of to go place when I do go back to Manila for a visit, and I could visit it more than once hahahahha loved loved their Pizzas and Pasta.

Taken in 2014

So when I tasked find some portable keyboard for work I purposely made that errand to be done near the vicinity like Marina Square where there's a lot of electronic shops hahahah.

With my Little bro Phlebas we decided to give it a try. And even if I have a few Happy Tummy posts to do...they went to the top to be posted hahahahah..call me bias or excited much hahahahha.

So lets start with how their interior, all photos are taken using my Oppo F1 phone or I got it from the Yellow Cab Co. Facebook page .I will state on the picture caption :-).

You know the end of the long walkway in City Link leading to Suntec City? That is where they are located.

Their menu is displayed in the entrance...I started drooling just reading hahhahaha, we were greeted by who seems to be the owner (she was not in uniform and she does look like she owns the place). She escorted us to our table for 2.

Hold your reactions..since when was I ok seating on a table for 2, knowing that we usually order for at least 3 or more people hahahahahah... well..see this thing...that is where they put the pizza that you ordered and since it's elevated  you have enough space for other things...you will see how much we ordered and we were eating comfortably 😏. One thing that I liked about Yellow Cab Co. is coming up with this idea.☺

The dining area was bright, not cluttered although the tables are quite near each other you could still enjoy your meal and not feel claustrophobic hahaha although you might consider talking a bit softer because the other tables might hear your conversation and unintentionally eavesdrop hahahahahha. We could hear both the conversation clearly of the people on our left and behind us hahahah.. which personally I don't mind love hearing stories :-)

Loved loved this sliding barn door, behind it is where they store some of their dry items. Loved this idea so much that I told by Little bro Phlebas that I want it to be done when we purchase a home in Manila.

They also have al-fresco dining,

So what did the Galang siblings ordered??

Drinks we decided to order Iced Tea, this was refreshing and surprisingly not too sweet, we ordered it twice.

And yes, they do serve beer they offer San Mig beer light!!! and the traditional Pale Pilsen. Pizza and beer perfect match made in heaven. I was sick and taking antibiotics so I have to give it a pass. And it's not because it's still a workday the following day hahahahahha.

If you don't fancy San Miguel beers (why????) they do have other beers like Red Horse.. (note to self next time should try it...yes I know I haven't tried red horse 😞 just always been a San Mig fan and yes I have to try it in Singapore 😃).

For starters, we decided to try the chicken wings. Ordered 2 hahahahah

Hot Wings

Surprisingly, my Little brother Phlebas liked this one. It has spicy touch that will not leave your mouth burning..he ate 3 pcs hahahaha which says a lot.

For me, I found it a bit oily for my liking but flavor wise I like it, seasoned and cooked well.

Hot Wings $8.00 for 4 pcs.
Garlic Parmesan Wings.

My Little Bro Phlebas liked these wings he find it tasty, not oily but kinda dry for him and he hopes that there was more garlicky taste.

I for the other hand kinda liked it, the Parmesan does stick to the chicken which I like. Same like him wished the garlic flavor was a bit stronger..maybe it was overpowered by the Parmesan cheese.

On a side note... don't be afraid to use your hands in eating these wings..the restroom is just beside on their right..you peeps know that the proper way to eat chicken wings is with your hands hahahahha makes the experience better...or you could always ask for extra serviettes 😊.

Garlic Parmesan Wings $ 8.00 for 4 pcs
For Mains there's 2 parts...the pasta!!!

Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta

This is my go to pasta when I am in Manila so I got to try it.

Pasta was al dente, the chicken was tender and seasoned well. I liked it kinda got a comfort food type of feeling :-)

Ok I did say I was sick so how could I describe how it tasted?? Don't gasp!! I shared it with my brother more of I asked him to taste it and we had the same opinion. Yes, now I know how to share my pasta hahahahahha.

Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta $ 12.50
Spaghetti and Meatballs

My little brother Phebas had this, he kinda liked it wished that there are more tomato flavor in the sauce if it does make sense although the pasta is cooked right and the meatballs was seasoned well.

Spaghetti and Meatballs $ 12.50
and the Pizza!!! Usually we will order 2 flavors but since we are not that hungry hahahaha we decided to go for..

4 Seasons - 4 Flavors in 1 (NY Classic, 4 Cheese, Anchovy Lovers, Roasted Garlic and Shrimp)

We loved this idea having to taste 4 flavors of pizza in 1, the flavors included are our favorite. The thin crust was crispy and I you think that the flavors will be mixed..nope it didn't each slice holds their own.

All flavors was great, if you don't like salty food, I would recommend to stay away from this..the 4 Cheese and Anchovy lovers could be a bit salty for some people but we didn't mind it.

4 Seasons Pizza $16.00 (10")
Overall Experience

Food:
We liked the food, as my brother said that they just opened so I can't have high expectations. Overall our food adventure were good.
We liked what we ordered. :-)

Ambiance
Bright and cozy the dining area which I love.

Service:
The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. And seeing the owners actually helping out is a big deal for me. Having worked in the Service Industry for years, it gives me the impression that they are hands on people and they actually work with their staff. It will translate on how their staff works, gives them motivation to do well.

Price
Totally affordable and worth every single cent. All of those food that we ordered only cost us $65.00 and we left the place burping hahahhahhah

Will I come back??
Yes! Need to try the rest of their menu. And I love their staff :-)

If you're in the area during lunch they have an ongoing lunch promotion.
